yeah well i realise that now, hopefully some new players joining wont, and i can ninja one back sometime soon :)

I guess thats the circle that happens :D

advanced components weigh whatever you have developed the weight stat too, for example my traction control is like 1kg at 70% weight

and no sorry i dont know how much u wud have to go to, to get 550kg
 
Dudes, whoever has the chassis calculation table i made, ignore it. Its completely wrong. Whoever provided that formula earlier in this thread was hugely mistaken. The total car stability is not even close to what that formula says it is. I found mine to actually be 20% less in game than that formula would have me believe.

hmm odd, has worked pretty much spot on for me, care to provide the stats of your parts and what the game actually says stability is, and i will take a look at the formula

dunno if you got this earlier dampcat or anyone else, but when using the ferrenzi chassis if you develop your monocoque to 60/60/52/58 it will reduce the weight and increase the stability to 100%

its a good first upgrade to get the best out of a bought in chassis while you are developing your own :)

How much is engine devlopment.

Is it worth getting level 1 engine factory or level 3hq

i would say yes its worth getting an engien factory, but you need o facor in the cost of a manager and assistantts, once you've got lvl one you can devlop a longish term engine over say 2-3 races at a time , you'll soon be making one better than you can buy in that way.
 
wow the starting stats for enigines are petty good. It shouldn't take many races to develop something better then I can buy.

Also anyone know who is better?

Ian Philips 100% 100% 50% £600,000
Stefano Dominicali 90% 65% 80% £450,000

As motivation is important for drivers, is it the same for managers. Or just go with the talent.
 
strange are you in private servers? i dont see any of those 2 in my manager list

Anyways if money is tight i'd go for the cheaper one. You wanna max out personnel which cost £1000 each for engine ithink
 
oh right, i was tight on money at the start in season 1&2 so went for eddie jordan. half the price of the top guy but figured he wouldnt be half the speed + i think he's hilarious on BBC and his 'sweat shirt' haha brilliant!
 
well this season been a total write off, guys in my league have like 210% engines and ive got a 100% :(

still been finishing mostly 5-6th and got work done on my new chassis as well as some advanced components for next year.

chassis should be better than the ferrenzi one to start next season, also managed to get 2 decent drivers and sourced a 220/220/219/130 engine :p


so roll on next year !
 
Won this season already. Both championships.

I am not looking forward to next season. I can see me being trounced. I will be starting it with ferrenzi engine and chassis. It will be at least end of next season I reckon before I get an improvement either engine or chassis. Can see me, being beaten badly. But we shall see.
 
yeah i seen your post :)

i would have waited you might of ended up in a league with everyone on 100% engines... thus saving you tonnes of money. But o well. I hope im not in your league next season... I like earning 6-7mill a race while still competing

this is true tbh, however i like to win :)


also my chassis is now better than the ferrenzi so ill be saving around 1.2 mill a season and was budgeting for a 2 mill engine and having to buy the chassis, so overall it has worked out ok.

should still be turning a profit, although maybe only a million or so until i get the second company online.

currently have 5 star facilities all the way down to research facility as well. so there's not a huge amount for me to spend my money on :)
 
depends on what other teams are using conc, just compare what you are using against there's in percent wise. if yours is on a par hen you'll be fine but if you put yours up against say ferrenzi you may find you get beat a lot :)
