ah ok.

im in the private league thats in the OP, which im 3-4 seconds off the pace with, however in the schumacher league im 0.5-1second faster roughly. this league im making money and getting loads of sponsor deals... May start saving now for HQ upgrades etc?
 
Yeah, ive shut the private league down now, it was very alive at the start but had died off abit, so we closed it down.

However our club on the Stewart server is still doing very well ranking 4th on the leaderboards even though the club was only established halfway through the game, whereas the top 3clubs started right at the start.

Ive had to make a few tactical restarts so far, but hoping that im on track now! although having abit of a battle at the moment!
 
I've been playing for a couple of months but it becomes very very boring to be honest after a while. Won't be renewing my subscription

what league did you get too, its pretty challenging at the top to get it right!
also have you tried the new game? its completely different to the stewart game, and looks like its gonna take a lot more balancing to get things right!
 
ob111 I've sent a request to join The Party Boys. I'm brand new to the game, only had one race last night and both my drivers crashed out within 20 laps :(

I've got to about league 23 on stewart, , but just get bored of the testing and the interface it takes so long to do anything. Making a load of money in it but just not enjoying it anymore.
 
starts to get fun when people are on the same development level as you and you have to tweak to get the best out of it... i have to say the new server is a lil bit more fun, in that its new and tyre wear actually means something. And its not so easy to run 250 of every personnel since each one can cost 20k per person lol.

Fair enough, each to thier own, ive complete finished development now, just do wind tunnel testing, but once the part start to degrade i will need to buy a bigger test track again, to keep my production flowing

I get the impresion some of you make big money every race? how do you do that I make a mere 7mill a race if I cut everything down and use my own engine and about 2mill if I but a top engine.

How much money do you get from the Tyre Manufacturer which costs 60mill.
 
How the hell have you managed that?

Or is your commercial research department almost at 200%?

perhaps that is where I should be throwing money at.

Sponsors, I have all 5 star sponsors. Also invested quite heavily in my commercial department. Hired Stefano Domenicalli as my commercial manager as soon as I could afford to, with the full 250 staff in the commercial dept. 5 * motor home, and invested £21mil in commercial dept research (and have today added another £54mil to that!!!)

Second Co, have the road car company. Not invested any money directly into it on the second company screen, but have put £22mil into second company research (and another £53mil today).

Most of that only speeds up recruit time not amount of money.

It is the money in the commercial research which must have boosted your earnings, so much. 20mill is 150%, so should be getting 3 mill for top sonsor + what ever you have in manager trait which might be another 10% on top of that?
Does that sound about right for your sponsors.

I also have mainly 5 stars with 3x4 stars. As their ar simply no 5 stars left. I a Assume this must be the case for everyone.
 
im making 21mil a race.
I have 30people in my comercial department and no manager.
7.2mil a race from second company, and both commercial and second company are are 190% also invested 25mil into second company.
Also i build my own engines, (220%) and sell them for around 6 mil each, this makes a healthy profit as well when i am selling 4 of them!
I would say the best way to get profit up is to research either second company or commercial.

im sure im still playing in this private league, or have i joined some other league by mistake?
 
well i shut down over a month ago now i think!

the league was called "GP2"

is that the league you are in?

if it is then it may not kick all players out when i close it, as there is a separate kick player option, perhaps it just keeps playing when you close it but the league has no leader. :-s
 
im in GP2 but it looks like i might be playing just AI players? as 3 teams have not yet raced yet this year and have no drivers.
 
sounds like the league is continuing with no leader as i left with out kicking al players first.

Its good for testing purposes though!
 
I'm having a great season. Only one other team appears to be actually playing in the leauge I'm in, so I'm winning everything.

Probably not good for nextsesdon though, as ill probably get promoted to a far more competitive leauge!
 
looks interesting gonna sign up at lunch time :D

if i need to join anything please gimme a shout and any good advice is welcome also :D
