That looks like a video glitch.
First day take-away: looks like Merc, Ferrari, and Red Bull are close - all three looked really good through the corners - with McLaren maybe a little behind. Alpine are looking like the best of the rest. Aston and Sauber suck. Not clear where Haas stand as they were running a very different programme to the rest. All the new guys did well, and reliability looks rock solid all round.

What was amusing were the antics of the Mclaren pit crew in trying to hide the car and prevent a lone photographer from taking pictures when the car returned to the pits.Looks like Lando is driving the MCL38 Monaco Senna Tribute paint scheme
