Hopefully we'll see some qually simulations, so will get a slightly better idea of the speed of the teams although I expect they'll hold a little bit off until Aus.

08:48 Heikki Kovalainen confirms his absence is due to food poisoning via a more-detailed-than-we-really-wanted Tweet on @H_Kovalainen: "Wow what a night not been sick like this for a long time... both ends like no tomorrow! Not sure what I picked up and where but not nice..."

Lotus just a tiny bit quicker than the best time last week here.

Still no sign of HRT or Marussia (I know they said they wouldn't come, but you never know..), so both are likely to start the season with zero testing or knowledge of their 'new' cars.

edit

10:21 We're still waiting for news on whether HRT will be able to make it on track for the final day of testing tomorrow. A decision is expected later this morning.

Massa has done a quick time, but its still a tenth off the best from last week here. Should see them well into the 1m 21s..?

Get the feeling the Ferrari could be quick, but if it takes a long time to get the most out of the package, the rest of the grid would have moved on as well already.

Most of the field spent the afternoon focusing on race simulations, meaning that Raikkonen's 1m22.030s lap, set inside the final 20 minutes of the morning, was unlikely to come under fire.

The Lotus driver's race simulation was among the most impressive of the day as he completed a 65-lap run on four sets of Pirelli tyres; three soft, one hard. During these stints he suffered performance drop-off of no more than 1.8s on any given set of tyres.

While his drop-off figures were the best of the race simulations, his overall pace was still shy of Lewis Hamilton's McLaren, which seemed to have a 0.2s advantage on any given lap of a stint.
