Anyone going along next week?

Was surprised (well not really) to see they now charge for entry - £10 in advance or pay on the day.

Seriously though if I can just turn up on the day and pay a tenner I may well go up for a few hours if I can get some mates to come with me. What days are they testing and what times anyone please?

Wow what a great job :)

Do you ever get any free stuff? Like posters, hats or anything? I'd pay you for a nice Renault F1 poster or cap

It does happen that there are some marketing material left over at times :)

However, instead of paying me for stuff, why don't you just pay Renault themselves??

(I'm not allowed to sell or give away any of the crap that I may end up with through work)

Ah so has a car ever been driven upside down in a tunnel ? ala men in back style ? as an F1 car has enough downforce to do so ?

Has it ever been done by remote etc or is it onyl been proven on computer models ?

Nick.. how did you get into F1 engineering (ok, aerodynamics, but similar stuff I assume.)

Did you go striaght from University, or did you have previous experience(chartered status etc?).

Are there many opportunities for new grads in the engineering side of many teams?

Does anyone know what times the cars normally run at during the testing days? Never been to one before and quite interested in going. Can't see it mentioned on the Silverstone site either.
