I think the trailers are getting better actually. Looks decent enough to me, at least good enough to be worth seeing in the cinema to judge it.No thanks...
its banned due to its slippery nature, they use something else.I didn't know F1 teams use Peak 50/50 antifreeze as a coolant, for all those sub-zero races![]()
If he was a British driver, they'd have called him Cloudy Drizzle.I just can't get on with the main characters name.
All he has to do is copy Maverick but wont have any nostalgia. I mean its the same story, older "pilot" training and helping a " Younger pilot".Well he did the almost impossible with Top Gun 2 so lets see what he does with this!
Indeed, TG2 was cheesy Af but it worked, if he can inject some of that into this it might be a good popcorn flick, let's see.All he has to do is copy Maverick but wont have any nostalgia. I mean its the same story, older "pilot" training and helping a " Younger pilot".
Still more accurate to what happens in F1 than any Drive to survive season lol.I thought the initial first teaser with the 'got to build our car ready for combat' line was a clear sign it was going to be a trainwreck but the two main trailers have given me faith it's not going to be completely terrible and probably be half decent so long as you don't go full neckbeard as an F1 fan and analyse everything in terms of realism.
Hmmm , it still looks predictable, old guy and young guy don't get on but eventually bond to win blah blah. If it turns out more like Alonso v Hamilton at Mclaren then that would be worth watching.
Sounds great.![]()
Brad Pitt vanity project F1 is just a bad version of Top Gun: Maverick – review
This Lewis Hamilton-produced sports film is a soulless endeavor, and far too infatuated with the near-mythical bravado of Pitt’s racing veteran to really workwww.independent.co.uk
It's actually reviewing very well, colour me surprised.Sounds great.![]()
Is that like saying Top Gun: Maverick isn't made for pilots? It'll be a film aimed at the casual fan, or perhaps not even a fan at all. As avid watchers of F1 I'm sure we will see inconsistencies and things that just wouldn't happen in real life on screen, but as said, it's not a movie made for us.
