i bought an f3 1tb and im using win7 64bit, and when i try partitioning the drive it only shows it as a 32 meg drive not 1 tb. im using an e6300 on the gigabyte 965-ds3 mobo .does anyone know how to solve this or try returning drive to factory defaults ....or do i just RMA the drive.

This seems to be a not uncommon problem with Samsung HDDs on Gigabyte boards. There are some suggestions on another forum which involve using a software tool to restore the capacity but I'd advise caution if that's a road you want to go down.
