F30 330d Colour Scheme

Hmmm interesting, I actually really like a light leather interior (Volvo s60 was beige and my SLK is light grey) but I doesn't seem like a popular combo with the blue. I know it's a personal thing but I don't want to get it "wrong".

What colour is the boot carpet if beige is chosen?

Black I would imagine, my 335i was blue paint/beige interior and has an entirely black boot.

Just ordered a F30 330d luxury as my next company car - Mineral grey with black.....None of this weird beige interior malarkey for me :p

Right, I have decided...

330d touring
Estoril Blue
Beige Leather
Burr walnut trim with pearl chrome finisher
Msport Plus pack
Pro Nav
Front heated seats

Have I missed anything obvious?

I have been reading a lot on this, it seems like the xDrives need adaptive because they don't come with the Msport suspension but it is unnecessary otherwise.

It's more like 2mpg like for like as the 335d is only available as an xDrive. It's 55bhp more powerful than the 330d.

Hold on. You're saying that a permanent 4wd more powerful car is only 2mpg worse off than a RWD less powerful car.

Transmissions must have improved loads in recent years :)

Vis package and folding mirrors are also a must IMO. I will never ever own a car again that does not have vis package.....

What's the front/rear split like for xdrive? Is it RWD until needed? Or rear biased permanent? Or 50:50?

You should drive one first with the 19" wheels, for me the ride is unbearable and it needs the adaptive suspension even with that I would then be changing the tyres over to non run flats.

Given that its a lease you pay for most of the options in full so whilst tempting to add the vis pack I don't see the real benefit. I've driven one on 19's, whilst firm it felt well damped and certainly better than an E92 330d that I drove a while back. I may live to regret leaving off adaptive but there has to be a line drawn somewhere, it could have easily cost me another grand without blinking.

Anyway order went in earlier, now the wait!
