Turned on my system this morning, got to the widows logon screen before bsod'ing, rather poor screen pic i managed to take with my phone below.

Upon reboot i did get into windows, but it crashed again with the same error. After a restart the primary hdd isnt detected on boot or in bios, optical drive and secondary 1tb hdd are detected. The drive is an oldish wd 250gb 5400 rpm drive that i was using as a stopgap after my ssd died, (ocz vertex 2e). Currently running memtest to see if ram is ok. System is in spec, all at stock. Once memtest completes, would it be ok to remove the hdd and test it in my other pc?

Memtest seems fine so far, (3 passes done). So ill try some other troubleshooting. Looks as though the debit card will have to be deployed to get a new ssd. Still pondering wether to go for a standard 256gb sammy 840, or push the boat out and go for the pro model

Ran chkdisk which went fine, also swapped out sata cable. Still missing on some boot attempts, but currently running ok, (posting this from rig). Also downloaded the western digital data lifeguard tools, ran the quick diagnostic test but it showed up errors pretty quickly.
