FA Cup 5th Round Draw

Serves Chelsea right! They don't deserve to go through with how they played and how they've been playing recently, and the players (and manager) need to sort it out. A real chance of them losing out on a Champions league place and they have no one to blame but themselves. I'm fed up with it, they have masses of quality but no idea what to do.
 
Chelsea can now concentrate on more important competitions.

Wednesday are so **** to be honest.

I've given up on football other then the Champions league, just going to watch that.

Surely Chelsea would have to be ....8th? to miss out of Europe completely?

Can see them being knocked out of CL with ease by someone....and yes Liverpool have a great chance to do it , but I cant see Chelsea not getting European footy at all
 
Arsenal for the triple (or the quadruple if we beat barca) is starting to look more and more realistic!!! :D

No, depending on who wins the carling and fa cups, 6th can be enough to see you out of Europe altogether. Top 4 is champions league, 5th is Europa league + the 2 winners of the cups. 6th and 7th are only Europa league IF the cup winners have already qualified for Europe. So depending on who wins the cups, chelsea could finish 6th and be out of Europe totally.

and just as easily you could be out of the CL and FA Cup within a couple of weeks lol

Officially only 5th is certain of Europa league, 6th/7th get it based on both cups and who wins them. If one of the top 5 already in Europe win either cup then one or both of 6th/7th qualify for the Europa league.

Is there a chance Chelsea will drop that far, yes, they really are rubbish, will Liverpools lift from new manager last, debateable, very much so. Will Liverpool get a key injury, will Merieles stop scoring, maybe irrelevant, more down to if Chelsea can get back to form, at the moment they are truly, epically shocking.

Clearly what Chelsea need to do is fire Abramovich and make an offer Dalglish can't refuse :p

ohhh fair enough (cant see Arsenal not winning the CC though)

Its a close competition as to whether its Chelsea or Man City in more danger (given City have played a game more, there is only a point between them)

It's possible, Birmingham can be a tough team to beat. That just leaves someone unexpected to win the fa cup and Liverpool to get above chelsea and it would leave chelsea with no European football at all next year. We'll just have to wait and see what happens :)
 
well i was wrong about Brighton showing us up, i have to persume all the media hype about how they like to play football was vastly over exaggerated. Just look like any other lower end championship club imo

poor team, 3 set peieces 3 goals for stoke
