FA CUP FINAL Chelsea v Liverpool *** Spoilers ***

Best day! Important that Dalglish doesn't get a chance to call this a successful season as winning the league cup with your first team is cheating....

Plus I really want Di Matteo to get the job now

Too little too late. We set up to play on the break and then mistakes from Spearing, Enrique and Reina, we're 1-0 down and the game plan's out of the window. Once we changed things and brought Carroll on we looked a lot better but we had too much to do by then.

edit: We'll never know for sure whether Carroll's header was over the line but it was a lot closer than some people on here are suggesting. This pic looks more in than on the line imo:

and his second was too bad either, lovely ball from Luis

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good moan eh? A goal should only be given if the linesman knows 100% that the whole ball crossed the line, there was doubt as to whether the whole ball had crossed the line therefore he didn't give it. It's not some Anti-Liverpool conspiracy in the FA, there just wasn't enough proof for them to give the goal. Tbh, for 35 million pounds you would expect Caroll to not give Cech any chance of getting his hands on it..

Indeed, Liverpool fans shouldn't be too downbeat as they don't deserve for this season to be even remotely described as a success.

They need a manager who isn't clueless and intent on embarrassing them in front of the press.

I don't see where I said it was a conspiracy or anything of the likes, they simply ****ed up majorly, just like they did with Spurs, or England.

Why let facts get in the way of a good story, right?

Unlucky Liverpool, you had your chances in the last 10mins of the game but didn't take them...unlucky for Carroll not scoring with that header..it didn't look like it went over the line sadly.

Grrrr well done Chelsea you lucky ****s, I just hope Bayern thump your backsides in the CL final.

Hope this doesn't mean Liverpool sack Dalglish :(

He's the best that that's happened to Liverpool (for all us rivals) and all the fans love him (especially the rivals) keep him!!! Please don't sack him!!! :(

He didn't **** up though, I have seen it from several camera angles and none of them have shown conclusively that the entire ball crossed the entire line. You can't compare it with the one at the World cup, that was several foot over the line whereas this one was a 50/50 decision.

Okay then, if you think it was a blatantly terrible decision, care to show me some proof which shows that it was an error? Ohh wait there is none because it was impossible to tell. But don't let facts get in the way of a good story, right?
