It's not the same competition it once was. That's not to say it isn't good, but the top teams don't really care about it.

Do you see how all the top teams (and hell most of the mid teams) just put out weak teams until they get to the latter stages where they might start a few first team choices? I mean come on you must realise that for most of the top teams it's at the bottom of the list behind Europe and getting a good league position, every single team would prioritise top 4 over it.

If clubs cared about it they wouldn't put out teams of 18-20 year olds and instead put their first team out. Bigger clubs just see it as a training ground for the youth squad.
 
D'oh, i've been sitting for the past half an hour waiting for BBC 1 to switch to this match and didn't realise it's on BTsport too.
 
Better late than never with the anthem....! That female singer must have felt extremely awkward after messing that up! #singingcareerover! haha!
 
I'm really hoping Palace win this, but I expect Utd to win.

Would it be too mean to hope Rooney gets injured so we can be spared his presence in the national squad for the Euros? :D
