FA CUP FINAL Manchester City v Wigan Athletic *** Spoilers ***

Man City are pretty woeful to watch. Mancini has them players to pick from but he just sucks all football ability from them, playing narrow just doesn't work. They try and pass to feet and get no where then try giving it to clichy to cross and goes no where. He has no tactical knowledge at all, he needs some wingers and to get a target man to play along side Tevez or Aguero. It's so frustrating to watch having them players and being bored to death.

Well done Wigan! One of the reasons they might get relegated is the number of shonky mistakes their defense makes trying to play out of trouble. I know they try to play a passing game but they over play it for the quality they have when sometimes they should just clear it.

Like Dzeko?

They can have Young and Valencia if they want :p

Yep. They play him and still don't have wingers. Bloody pointless.
I reckon young and Valencia in the team they'd have done better this season. Sinclair on the right and even Milner on the left would have been better than the drivel there produced this season.

Liverpool to buy McManaman :p

Congrats to Wigan. Completely outplayed us for 100% of the game. Embarrassing from us.

Either the players are sick of Mancini and now they know he's possibly gone they just want to confirm they don't want to play for him or it was another bad day at the office.

Mancini must know he is gone now. He didn't seem interested the full game until Wigan scored and then he jumped up and tried to rally the players.

Bloody Wigan and their end of season switch of turning it on against teams.

At least you're honest.

City's biggest problem I feel is still that they have too many individuals and not enough of a "team", and to a large extent they have too many players who aren't interested in being part of a larger squad, which is what you need to have in order to compete in all competitions. Having the best 11 players will only get you so far, and that's pretty much where City have been exposed.

I think Zabaleta, Kompany and Hart are the only ones in the City squad who actually care. You could tell when Zabaleta was sent off that he was really unhappy with the rest of the team (Barry in particular). When I was watching I couldn't help but feel that Zabaleta should have just let him run through and score a goal because City's best chance at that point would have been to keep 11 men on the pitch and try to score an equaliser, both psychologically and because City had the quality to do so.

Well done to Wigan though, totally deserved victory in the end :)
