*** FA Cup - Qtr Finals - 12th & 13th March 2011 ***

Are either Stoke or Bolton going to sell 32k tickets anyway? I'm pretty sure that since the semi's have been moved to Wembley a lot of clubs have struggled to sell their allocations.

i would imagine they would.

days at wembley dont come often for these teams. This game is literally the talk of the city at the moment, people who dont even come to games want to go.

Reason there are empty seats at semi finals is beciase like i said before the coperate and club wembly members dont bother to attend.

I think even barsnely and cardiff managed to sell there allocations in 2008

Heck we took 30k to old wembley in 2000 for a LDV vans final. Stoke have a good record of support for these sorts of games.

Reason there are empty seats at semi finals is because like I said before the corporate and Club Wembley members don't bother to attend.

Maybe it's because they're not fans of Bolton or Stoke. I don't think either would have a particularly large fan base.

They should sell those seats on the door instead akin to a club scheme for non attendance.

Yeah selling 32k seats should be no trouble whatsoever for Premiership teams except maybe someone like Wigan who have shot up from the lower leagues in a short space of time and where football isn't the main sport in the town; Saints are in League One and they took 44k to Wembley for the Johnston's Paint final (would have taken more if they could).

OK so that was a final, but it's not like Stoke and Bolton have had bulging trophy cabinets in recent years, semifinal of FA cup should be a pretty big deal for them. Maybe a better example would be something like Pompey vs West Brom, that had 83.5k attendance, presumably they sold out most of their allowance.
