FA Cup **Spoilers**

He's not good enough for a top 4 club though. or a top 8 club really.

Too early to tell. We've been too spoilt over the years and expect every youngster to be like Owen, Rooney, fat Ronaldo and Messi when they broke onto the scene. Some players don't show their true ability until they've had years of honing their skills under coaches that can see that potential.

Too early to tell.
Exactly. Far too many people expect strikers to score a goal a game nowadays and when they don't they're classed as flops :(

Unfortunately for Ngog he's always going to be in Torres' shadow so given the stop start nature of his Liverpool playing career 9 goals from 14 starts isn't all that bad.

Will be interesting to see how Liverpool cope without Gerrard, Torres, Benayoun and Johnson for a few weeks, who have arguably been their 4 most creative players this season.

It'll completely depend on who replaces them. Ideally I'd like to see Ngog replace Torres, Aquilani moved forward to replace Gerrard, Maxi brought in to replace Yossi and Degen/Carragher used at right back until Kelly's fully fit.

Unfortunately I expect to see Kuyt up front on his own which'll completely destroy any attacks we have :(

No its not the fact we are not winning everything in sight, its the awful AWFUL football he is dishing up.

This side he has at the minute is possibly only second to his dreadful 01/02 side, in which strangely enough he made EXACTLY the same mistakes as he has done this year.
Defensive problems underestimated and ignored (laurent Blanc!!)
Weak up front. (one quality striker!)
Weak in goal. (Barthez!)

Refusing to drop players who simply were not good enough.........

As for loving him at Arsenal, I'd swap him for Wenger in a heartbeat as it stands right now, because everything he touches is turning to **** not gold at the minute.

Ok well at the moment that may not be the case ie midas touch but honestly ill wait and see what happens at the end of the season...im not putting Man Utd out of the Prem title race just yet...they might sneak it this yr depending on how consistent Arsenal and Chelski are in the next few weeks.

You might have finished 3rd in 98/99 but I don't think that one finish makes you a "top four" side on a regular basis.

Pre Roman Abramovich 2003, you finished;

01/02 - 6th
00/01 - 6th
99/00 - 5th
98/99 - 3rd
97/98 - 4th
96/97 - 6th
95/96 - 11th
94/95 - 11th
93/94 - 14th
92/93 - 11th (start of the Premier League)

Looking at that I wouldn't of called Chelsea a "top four" without Roman Abramovich and his money.

Top 6 team I'd have said. :)

Might see Maxi replacing Gerrard, behind Ngog, with Kuyt staying on the right. Would certainly be interesting.
