FA Cup weekend and other football games *SPOILERS*

Well done Colchester. What a pleasant change to see a bunch of honest, committed players.

Maybe they were too honest! Can you imagine Drogba, Crespo or Robben staying on their feet whilst having their shirt pulled when they were clean through? No, I didn't think so.

Quite how Dermot Gallagher missed Carvalho pulling the Colchester player back i'll never know. It should have been a straight red for Carvalho. Sometimes honesty doesn't pay.

After watching Colchester, i've come to understand why i'm losing my passion for Premiership football. If only every player in the Premiership were as honest and passionate as those Colchester players!

Got to agree. I've been noticing a worrying trend of the best clubs to watch being the promoted sides every season, because they all play with something that the top flight sides are sorely missing these days - teamwork.

There was no showboating from Colchester today, just honest football and good passing. 3-1 doesn't tell the story of the match at all imo.

What a gutsy and honest performance by Colchester, thoroughly enjoyed that game. Well done to all the Colchester players the fans must have been in dreamland. Great to see them really enjoy themselves.

Carvalho is the consumate Italian defender, dirty as ****,but gets away with murder seemingly every game.Very clever about how he does things, just wish the refs would occasionally realise whats going on.

J. Cole made a good point about the quality of our lower league sides, they are not to be taking likely & are probably the best in Europe. 1st half they bettered us with just sheer guts & determination, 2nd half the Lampard linchpin undid them.
Hope we don't re-lay the pitch before Weds. there's nowt wrong with it apart from aesthetics, SWP & Duff had no problems with close control:)

gotta agree with Joey Cole on the quality of the lower league teams in this country is outstanding. Ive had the misfortune to watch some lower league German/Italian and Spanish footy this season and its nothing short of dire in quality.

The legend that is Rob Lee is drawing the balls.
Speaking of the quarters they are to be played on a week night w/c March 21st.

Not right , should be a weekend imo.
If we get a London team that will mean a stayover and a days holiday off work.
Fans losing out yet again
