wait for it to hit PC, Fable 2 is just more of the same by the looks of it. Also online co-op isn't working till they have patched it

Im in the same place as the op, i would love to play fable 2 as i enjoyed the orignal 1 on the PC, having no idea if and when it will be released on the pc i was looking at getting a xbox360, i found 2 bundles but at £250 each seems a hefty amount for a console i may play a couple of games on, the bundles were the elite console with fable 2 and fifa 09 or Fallout 3 ( have that on pre order for the pc ) cant find any 60gb bundles with just fable 2

but then your viewing is restricted to component? Is it just as good as HDMI? Also is there an optical out connection on a core 360?

Seems a good idea to me. The Core DOES have HDMI - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360

However:

- It only comes with a composite cable
- No headset
- No Ethernet cable

It does come with a 256mb MU and an Xbox Live Arcade compilation disc though.

got a 20ft ethernet cable
got a hdmi cable (ill just swap between the ps3 one or get a splitter)

Cores are old, so they'd be older revision hardware and probably more likely to break. I'd go for a pro if you can afford it or just pick up an arcade.

If you buy a core you're only going to end up spending the difference to buy all the addons.

If you plan to get a 360 second hand make sure you get it from the real gamers retail shop as they'll sort it if it RROD's

i bought a ps3 for mgs4,played the game abit then traded it in,now i only use ps3 for blurays.I am not saying ps3 is rubbish but just nothing is out for it yet that interests me, and with me having a 360 and my brother i just buy the games for that so we swap ect.I am gonna buy fable 2,i haven't played the first one but this looks pretty good after seeing it on the e3 footage.
