Fable 2

3 - it is impossible to stay pure, not if you want to do all the side quest, i inadvertently started the shadowsomething's quest, looking for people for sacrafies, and now I have this blue glow all over my body.

4 - Walk around in your underwear can get you fined $10 !

If you mean the blue lines on your body, thats from using the 'Will' powers and upgrading them, the more you upgrade the more the line appears, i have max pure and max goodness and covered in blue lines.

As for walking around in your undies, ive not been fined for doing so

well its only 2 or 3 of the cheapo stalls (only 1k to buy so thought i might as well)

but yeah im sure i made about 440 when i was out for 20 mins or so. I get about 48 every 5 mins. So bought meself some new clothes, decent sword and gun, some condoms and the come hither expression and im set for a nite on the razz :D

I found it was far better just saving up to buy the pub (cost me 72k) as the money brought in from the stalls is pointless. I left my game for a few days and when I came back could buy another pub, and then the blacksmiths etc. Bringing in about 5k every 5 minutes now, but that is on -20% costs on everything. Now I have finished the main quest I might stick all my prices up.

Fable II Premium Downloadable Content

Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Game Studios Announce First Fable II Premium Downloadable Content

Fable II adventures continue with downloadable content and free pack to release mid-December 2008

The epic journey begun in Fable II, the fastest selling RPG on Xbox 360, is not over. Starting mid-December 2008, fans will be summoned back into Albion's service with the release of the Knothole Island downloadable content pack. The remote island of Knothole is dying: its golden sands and lush vegetation are covered with snow, its people freezing, its treasures buried. Only a hero can face the trials of the three shrines to bring back the sunshine.

Following its release on Xbox 360 on Oct. 21, more than 1.5 million units of Fable II flew off store shelves worldwide in the first two weeks, making it the most popular game, across all platforms, in the U.S. in October. With the release of the first Fable II downloadable content, available exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points, gamers will be invited to set sail for Knothole Island, where new quests, wondrous items and bizarre characters await.

Also in mid-December, fans everywhere will be able to enhance their Fable II experience with the release of a free Fable II downloadable pack exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. To engage in co-op gameplay with a player who has already downloaded the Knothole Island content, gamers will need to download the free pack. Both co-op players must download the Knothole Island (Premium) pack in order to play new quests and enjoy the complete Knothole Island co-op experience.

Free and premium downloaders will receive a show of gifts, including Knight's Boots, Assassins Gloves, a special Weight Loss Potion, collectible silver book and more. Players will also be able to check their standing in over 50 new Leaderboards on Lionhead.com.

As an additional treat for Fable II fans, Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Game Studios have created an all-new Albion dashboard theme in celebration of the launch of the New Xbox Experience. Fans who want to show off their Fable II pride can head over to Xbox LIVE Marketplace to download the Albion theme, available now for 250 Microsoft points.

Sounds good, Will wait till other people buy the add-on first. No shortage of games to play in December. Plus I am only buying if it adds enough quests etc. Don't just want new houses or weapons to buy as both are boring by the time you completed the SP game.

Will buy if it adds a few hours of quests.

yeah - you're right but how do i get 63K to buy the Bowerstone pub though? Enoying it immensely so far...will see if it can last.

btw the pub is the inn right? Do they mind me using their beds for between the sheets action? Couldnt find anyone who would give me a bed to sleep in.

Even though i'm trying to be nice on this run-through, the temptation to be a drunken debt-ridden slathering rampaging gigolo is proving hard to resist. (especially when gambling they just loan you the money and its addictive)

You can earn a lot of cash + XP in the Cruicible tourney. Once you develop your char to something decent the money begins to build up at a steady rate, more than enough for you to buy a pub.

You an use the Inns/Pubs to sleep with people. Pub is the best investment, I think I did the minigames to get enough money to buy them, took a while. As soon as you get the bartender mini-game things are easy (possibly too easy) as you then get money a lot easier.

There is a gypsy camp near Bowerstone, I bought the caravans there early on as well, cheap to buy for the amount of residual income you get.

Don't spend too much time buying and making money though, as once you have a lot of money, there is very little in the game that is challenging. In Hindsight I had too much money too early.

It's not a game I'd usually go for, I tend to steer away from RPG's, however I'm loving it - right up until I had to fight a rock troll in that Arena last night. Running around like an idiot for an hour trying to kill this thing, total waste of time.

You have to aim for the red bits.

I'm really taking my time with this game. I got in on launch day but only just got back from the spire! I took a few weeks break.

How long do i have left in the game now? Would like to finish it before the expansion!

Woohoo, a weight loss potion. I might keep the game just so I can not have a fat git character.

I would also like more variation in the clothes.

I'm hoping the weight loss potion is in the free pack :) I really cannot be bothered to start the game again to make my character slim, and I am bored of eating Celery!!

How do you stay slim? My character is not fat and i have spent most of my orbs on Will, i take it if you spent it on strength your character will bulk up?

Also, how do you change magic quickly in a battle? Especially more than 1 level, since you need to line up all the same ones to get get them to work, by the time i did that i would be dead !

I think holding down RT and flipping left/right with d-pad. Although to be fair you only need 2 spells to win any fight.

Eat Celery to stay slim/lose weight (apparently).

tbh, i just inferno 70% of the time, it is much quicker to reload than any long range weapons and i just keep on throwing fireballs at them, when they are close i hit one to the ground and then slash slash and slash. But most of the time the long range fireballs take care of all...except trolls, they seem to be immue to the thing!

Try the Force spell. I changed to this after I realised a few enemies are immune or semi-resistant to fire. Couldn't find anyone this spell did not work against.

I only finished the story last Thursday as well, after playing it since launch. That's how it's supposed to be played. :D
