Fable 2

You get an axe for doing the 8 perfect rounds, also some renown i think and a trophy, but the axe is out performed by the Daichi katana, simply becasue axes are slower.

I got sick of charging -20 for rented property so upped it to +40. Loadsa moolah now with about 19k per tick adding to my current 6mill :D I'll leave it like this until I max out my cash, then I'll drop it down.

I hope the game gets a patch to address 'missing but alive' wives. I can't complete the final Retribution quest because my first wife has gone awol, yet my son is still around. The game says she is in Bowerstone Market but no luck.

I don't think you can get the Axe the first 8 rounds even with perfect rounds as I didn't. If you return later and get 8 perfect rounds again you will get it.

To get into the crucible i needed to be more renowned, supposed to do something that makes me famous................ I just have an orgy with 4 men and got famous for being a **** and they let me through !

I just did something to the statue in the cemetery, and it dropped mask....but i can't pick it up !
That's normal. If the mask isn't highlightable then it's just part of that statue animation and nothing more. Those statues normally allow you access to something if you perform the right expression in front of them...

I've bought several stores and houses, I see what you all mean about making the game too easy - I've barely started any of the main story but I'm managing to buy some of the best equipment etc I can.

You an use the Inns/Pubs to sleep with people. Pub is the best investment, I think I did the minigames to get enough money to buy them, took a while. As soon as you get the bartender mini-game things are easy (possibly too easy) as you then get money a lot easier.

There is a gypsy camp near Bowerstone, I bought the caravans there early on as well, cheap to buy for the amount of residual income you get.

Don't spend too much time buying and making money though, as once you have a lot of money, there is very little in the game that is challenging. In Hindsight I had too much money too early.

rp2000

yeah - ive just been buying up the stalls when i have money. So not focusing on it too much. I wouldnt mind getting jiggily with Hammer(sister hannah) though - shes a big lass :D

I have only just started the main quest (Meeting the abbot) and already have more money than i know what to do with! I own every property in Bowerstone and Oakfield (brings in 12000 gold every game day) and don't even have to think about whether I can afford something before buying it.

Thats a bit over the top I know but at least I can go through the game with one less worry, lol.

Raymond Lin I sent you a friends request a few a couple of days ago but it's still pending do I have B,O? :D I was gonna give you some money and so on to help you out. I've got over 6 million again on my new char. :)

lol, sorry, i'll accept now :)

but i am ok on the money front, i think i rather earn that myself, i would love to get some achievement instead though :)

game wise, i've just realise 1 thing half way through it, you buy buy XP points in the form of potions, basically you can level up your character by doing bugger all, just wait until the rent money comes in, spent it on potions, use it, go to different town, buy out the potion trader, go to another town.

rinse and repeat. You can a lot more xp, some give you 12500 in 1 bottle for around 1000 gold.

Thats what i did, have far too much money and nothing to spend it on, so i bought the potions, went back the following day and bought them all again, same with clothing, think i have over 200 items of clothing at the moment.

The best ones give you 62500, for around 8000 gold. Very useful. Now if only there were a way to drink them all at once rather than having to keep going back into the inventory!

I done the Crucible last night, had 5 perfect rounds, the 3 that stumped me were the one with the bridges where the gits were miles away. The other one was the one where they are all on the edges of the arena, so miles away again. And the Troll in the end, it's really hard to hit all the things at the back.

How do people set their magic?

At the moment I have Time - Raise the Dead - Blade - Shock - Force Push.

I find that having time as the first one is great, can slow down time immediately, and press direction + time = warp to get out of trouble. Then give myself time to charge up the other magics.

The bridge one, run over onto the bridge and kill them as guys as soon as they appear. The one with the guys on the arena edge, utilise the 3 blue stepping tiles that cause flames to shoot at the enemies. The troll is just a sod, and needs an accurate hand to take out the nerves quickly.

I have Time Slow- Raise the Dead - Time Slow- Chaos or Inferno - Inferno. I use Time Slow as lvl 1 and 3 as I can get out an instant slow with the lvl 1, which then gives me enough time to get out the lvl 3 slow. This in turn gives me enough time to cast lvl 5 inferno and either of the other spells if required.
