Facebook apps! Arrghgh!

I keep getting people write on my ‘superwall’ which I only had for 20mins, I removed the app and thought that would be the end of it!! I can’t see it on my profile page, and the zombie stuff comes every day! Anyone know how you can block the requests? stop the apps from running? the options don't seem to do much!
 
hate this too, I loved facebook because of its simpleplicity, not the myspace style in your face pages. I've stopped using facebook now, shame really
 
Can't block requests as far as I know. If you're getting so many that it's unbearable, then I guess that teaches you for having so many friends, doesn't it.
 
Fsking Facebook apps! I hate them. You try to write on people's walls, and have to scroll past 20 pages of Buffy/Harry Potter/Superwall rubbish.
 
i know it's a real bugger - i see they will purchase and pay for good apps! i might create one that blocks all the others! :D
 
Agreed, does annoy me getting 5 requests for some useless Zombie's application from the same person. I only have the topfriends application and that's it.
 
Just ignore them

Though i now have a facebook page that's over 5,000 pixels tall, thanks to all the requests!
 
yeah i do ignore them, just wanted to know if i was missing some hidden option that blocks the lot! - there ruddy well should be, some people just like it nice and simple and use it to stay in touch with people not for 'biting chomps' :D
 
They do my nut. I had someone write on 'my superwall' which was odd because i've never added it, and never plan to either. I ignore all requests as such and if possible mark them as spam.
 
just incase you havent.. be sure to have actually removed the app and not just off your page. click on 'applications' on the left and you'll see a list of all the applications you have added, and be able to remove any you dislike :).

i wish there was a way to block annoying invites :(
 
I hate them also, it annoys me so much when i log on and i have 20+ app invitations. I have to scroll through millions of them just hitting ignore ! Grrr.
 
the feedback on these apps seem to be quite poor! why are they letting them carry on or at least giving users who don't want them such few options!
 
Most are pointless. I do like Scrabble though and Jetman is kind of cool in a tear your hair out with frustration kind of way.

Some people do go overboard with them though and I especially hate the ones where the whole point of the thing is simply to get as many people as possible to add it :mad:
