Facebook apps! Arrghgh!

Facebook is REALLY annoying, getting invites to stupid apps everyday. I just ignore them all.

I was going to post a thread but I may as well hijack this one lol.

I have actually been freaked out by Facebook recently. I had my uncles misses add me on there (duno how she found me) and someone I know from about 9 years ago has added me. Just find it a bit freaky.

i have about 300 people on there, only a 100 or so are people see and know, the other 200+ seem to be old school mates from way back, i don't quite fancy 'nuking' them,

It's not the email ones that are the problem.

This page is good as it shows when people have commented on you, added you, sent you a message, or uploaded a photo of you.

However, it also gets full of "Super poke" and ***** zombie invites.

Mine is even worse . I can't see a way to mass decline all the invitations either.

It all just makes the site look cluttered IMO

Agreed, privacy settings for the win.

Besides, by opening up and allowing apps you're haemorrhaging personal information. Read the small print, but if memory serves the moment you have one app installed - they have the rights to distribute your personal info.

goto the application main page and on the bottom right you will see a link to 'block application'

My cousin is my main spammer, I could just remove her.

Last count she had about 110 icons (including the default ones). Any easy way to check the length of her page?

The sad thing is, that facebook was reasonable at one point... but the app spam is just annoying as hell.

And ofc they are partially owned by microsoft now ofc and can access your personal data. Just chucking that out there...

I joined Facebook because it was simple and clean, unlike Myspace. Now it's pretty much exactly the same, with better layout control
