Sounds like a great way to troll your coworkers, by putting their email address in the fake page (preferably that of the IT manager)

how are they going to know who did it?*

* Yes, unfortunately @Rroff has pointed out that the "scam" email comes with a unique token in the URL which is used to identify the user, but in the absence of this it would be relatively trivial to cover your tracks

Unless someone was logged in on a work machine/work VPN yeah they'd have no way to know who did it. But as mentioned the link has a unique token in it - which the authentic page also has (similar) in the URL due to the referral from the company domain to the MS server.

I know know you’re all here to see how I’ve messed up and bathe in my misery, but luckily for me I’m not brain dead.

Selling a laptop on Facebook market place, and had a message saying:

“Ok I take but I would like to come tomorrow but I am currently busy with work, I will send a Budbee mailman to your home to give you your money in cash collect the item.
I explain, a Budbee agent will come to your home to give you an envelope containing your money, and once you fer have verified your en amoney you give him the article so that he can send it to my home ok .”

So ocuk, give me some address suggestions for where to send this budbee agent for maximum laughs and maximum time wastage for this scammer!

My first idea was Joris Bohnson who happens to live at the NCA headquarters in London, but show me your best!

Reminds me about an old internet story were some guy had a scam buyer for his macbook. Ended up with most of the forum teaming up in a special ops type scenario to actually get money out of the guy. They created a fake laptop or something too I remember. Something like the macbook ppppro haha
