My status is just blank for the simple fact I dont want everyone on fb knowing my life ... some people are just mere aquaintances not real friends, the people that matter are the only ones that know im with someone " close friends family " and same goes for my bf.

Yes it would bother me. She obviously wants attention off other males and doesn't want her status changed to stop that. Whether its flirting or something more sinister, she sounds like trouble and if she can't adjust to something this important in your life, she will never stop being selfish.
