Facebook Timeline

What i hate about facebook is it doesn't cater for people who don't want to change, if you want something new then go for it. But it constantly forces everyone over, I don't want this new timeline, I don't care for it. Perfectly happy as is
 
I can't seem to view my own profile page anymore after using Timeline.

I haven't 'published' it yet and when I browse Facebook I get the old style page, but when I click on my profile it's just a blank timeline page. It still gives me the option to Publish, but not sure if that's a good idea when I can't see anything.

Anyone else had the same?

It actually now looks like bebo. Facebook was great because it was uniform, quick to use and no one littered thier page with utter tosh.

one more reason to delete it.

to some of the posters above. Don’t know why your blanking out your name as it takes like less then 10 seconds to find you on facebook anyhow lol? :o
 
I actually quite like this timeline business... Now to track back in time and delete some of them angry blurps!

Oh and The Cover Art is NOT for profile photo, do you really want a giant photo of your face?

It's not adding any tosh though...
It's simply a change of the layout which includes an extra picture at the top and also allows you to now scroll back through a 'timeline' of everything on your wall.

Facebook were actually quite quick to nip in the bud all the crap that was ruining Facebook a few years back now. Remember all those pointless poke apps and such? There were just pages of them and constant status updates.

But that was the whole appeal of facebook. If you wanted to fill your page with images etc then you went with bebo or myspace. Facebook was for the more mature crowd, looked clean, was simple and functional.

On the app front i disagree, poke has gone but it's been replaced with farmville, "X has answered a question about you" etc.
