Then just delete the posts that you don't like that you made years ago.

They seem to have disabled the 'timeline' part of the timeline.
You can't browse back from the main page now, only from specific subsections such as maps.

I don't like the sparse difference in design on facebook now. Having used the new profile page it just doesn't seem to 'tally' with the layout and appearance of the newsfeed page etc. It bugs me.

Is that friend in the private group as well? If so, that's why. No one else will be able to see that apart from people in the group.

I hate the News feed template... I find browsing feeds a lot easier with the Timeline template and think they should apply it all over, not just User profiles. A 'News' feed is just the same as a User profile feed, just displaying updates from multiple users. This would achieve consistency and better browsability all-round, but I guess considering the size of the beast that is Facebook, they have to implement step by step.

It was meant to be, but it supposedly got delayed because of some copyright lawsuit from 'Timelines Inc'.
