Researcher Soraya Mehdizadeh from York University in Canada asked 100 students, 50 male and 50 female, aged between 18 and 25 about their Facebook habits.

A sample of 100 people for a website that has millions of users is not a great sample. Also focuses on a specific age group instead of catering to other age groups such as 25+. Then again the Daily Mail loves to jump all over this research to paint the world in a negative light.
