Rather new to facebook, How do I tag that I was with people in a post.

I start typing there names, click on each one but after 4 or 5 names it no longer gives me friends names to click on. Also the --With doesn't appear.

Any of you facebook boffs?
 
Nothing to do with pictures, trying to tag the people in my demonstration team at this years Kent County Show I was with in the comments of a post so I can thank them all on our page
 
not sure why everyone here is being a **** but any way.

am i right in thinking you've made a status update/post and want to add the tagged names? it should be a simple @ then start typing the names.

Maybe people on here don't like facebook.

TBH I do not have a FB account myself I use my partners as its only used for keeping track of training session schedules.

Anyway your correct but I can only 5 or so names to link. I can link to them but after I have added the 5th it wont let me link anymore. Also there is just the link and no '--With' text before hand.
 
It's probably anti spamming controls.
Add the people you can then add the others a day or so later.

just use @Name that works.. but i can tag more than 5 people for sure.

yeah but you won't be as cool init, its cool to hate FB because the service it provides is simply too social to some in here lol.

i never got the hate fb gets on ocuk.. use it or don't no one is forcing you :) crying about it and bragging how you can get away without using it is pointless, plus IMO it makes my life easier lol.

That's because people generally are to stupid or have no spine and think they have to use it in the same way as a teen chav, rather than how they want.
So many complaints about people they haven't known in 20years, then why have you accepted them as a friend, or complaints about x game, why haven't you blocked that game like you can, etc.
 
Much of the British Steampunk community, the Scooter Rally and Vintage scene and a lot of British Re-enactment groups would find it almost impossible to function without it now.

I was dragged kicking and screaming to it a few years ago but I'm bloody glad I was, it's indispensable these days for many of the things I do.

The haters are just as much brainless sheep as the idiots who put their whole life up on it. It's a tool people, you control it, it doesn't control you ;)
