Failed my driving test today

This always will make everyone feel better.

Mate pulls up to the test centre with his mum. Gets out the car and locks it to go in and start the test. Goes through the usual stuff, takes the examiner to his car (a green Daewoo Matiz 02, "sport"). Examiner asks "can you let me into your car", mate turns red with embarrassment to see his keys in the ignition locked in the car.

Always the best test fail story :D

A friend of mine went around, did ok with a few minors, then had to bay park at the end. He crashed it into the wall of the test centre.

I failed first time for hitting a curb when reversing around a corner. Was gutted.

Second time as soon as we got in the car and did all the usual show me tell me stuff he told me to pull out of the bay and do a reverse park into a different bay straight away. At this point my heart sunk. However i NAILED it and i think it really helped with my confidence for the rest of the drive. Ended up passing second time with 0 minors. (Although my examiner was quite old and i do think he did fall asleep a couple of times. I even floored it coming onto a bypass and made a comment on how nippy the car was /facepalm)

Anyways the point is you will nail it next time and as you have already noticed normally it isn't you that's the problem on the roads its all the other idiots that think they are gods gifts to driving :P

As long as you don't speed, then flooring its no problem, not good for the engine in the long run tho :)

I suppose that is true, but there must be something for "Aggressive acceleration" or something like that? Seems to be nearly something for everything else :P

i passed second time, first time i failed because i stayed in the middle lane on a roundabout with 3 lanes, inside lane and middle lane go straight on, outside lane turns right, i stayed in middle lane and went straight on.. fail, he said i should have been in left lane, even though their was a car there..

imo they're too strict, i'd have agreed if i caused a crash. nm
