Failed My Mod 2 :@

That sucks, chin up though and nail it third time lucky.

They must have targets, I failed for not making progress on a1 or what ever it was before the new rules. A lorry flashed me to let me out a junction. Not only does the high way code say, he's just letting me know he's there. I also went over the roof of a car the day before, silly bint went through a red light.

Just Really Annoyed, i know its only a test. i Passed my Car Test in 60 days from my 17th Bday with 5 lessons. Compared to my Whole year experience on a Moped and 2 months on a 125cc Scooter and 7 hours Bike Training and i still fail. Feel a bit annoyed. I Feel that im Ready to have the Licence. At the end of the day im not upgrading my bike. Still going to ride the same bike (AUTOMATIC Scooter :D lol ). Just without L Plates.

If your said 28mph then you would only be doing 2mph under the speed limit. that is no way a minor. His bikes speedo might be correct but he has to leave an allowance for the bikes that the testees are using.

I found out that my bike when showing 60mph is only doing about 55mph.
That was confirmed by a police officer on the bike safe course.

Exactly. Think it was Unfair, But obviously nothing i can do. Test is in 2 Weeks Time so hopefully i nail it this time! :)

Sounds to me like your more worried about the guy behind, I lost mine twice and all I could hear was him caning his bike to keep up as the mike kicked in at high rev. Ride as if he wasn't there.

Sorry, what I mean is maybe your taking the test too seriously, all they want to do is see you ride safe and at a basic standard, many people fall to pieces on test when normally they are fine, pretend he's not there just go for a ride and listen to any instructions in your ear.

Good advice.

This is exactly how I treated it, paying extra special attention to speed limits and saying them out loud to myself when I saw them (or didn't if I hadn't seen a change). I checked my mirrors regularly too so that I could also keep an eye on where he was for lane discipline.

Sounds like it was just a **** of an examiner tbh.
 
That's really unlucky. If the actual ride was safe you should have passed.

I don't mean to be rude but turning if you've been riding a year on a moped and 2 months on a 125cc scooter you really shouldn't be making the mistake of going too wide when turning left out of a side road. If you were doing that on your lessons the instructor should've picked it up straight away and knocked that habit out of you. Same applies for the speed. My instructor told me to get up to speed as fast as you can, none of this gentle acceleration stuff, if it's a 60mph stretch of road the examiner wants to see you pin it and not hang around. I felt weird about doing this but my examiner (the head guy from the test centre) seemed impressed enough by the fact that I redlined my bike everytime I got to a national speed limit road.

Congrats, it's a great feeling and so many people regret not doing it earlier in life. I have so many mates who want to do it but because of other halfs/mortgages/kids, won't get it done.
