Fallout 3 Anyone?

I've had this on preorder as long it's been available to preorder. I've been watching Fallout 3 since before Black Isle went under, and since the Bethesda buyout.

It has to be said I'm looking forward to it massively, as long as Bethesda don't **** it up!

Fallout3 CE is now available for pre-order at places as well now. If you guys didnt know. Comes in a Tin and with a figure of the little boy that ued to be on the in-game adds and such.

Looking good and at a decent price.

EDIT DOH, was on about the pc version.

This is going to be all sorts of awesome. Biggest forthcoming title for me personally.
Fallout 2 was brilliant, still play it now. The graphics let it down big time compared to current games so Fallout 3 is mouth watering

was just looking on google as i was told only the us version was uncensord, but the only thing i could read was the aussies have banned it :p

still cant wait for it

What ive heard about this game it sounds very, very good, was going to get the PS3 version but going for the PC one now. It will have the DLC unlike the PS3 version, and like oblivion i expect tons of free mods for the PC version.

Every time someone says this I die a little inside :(

I just hope to god they can pull off decent dialog and not the swill we had in oblivion.

it was said in an interview that because the fallout world is post nuclear war, there arent that many survivors, In oblivion you had hundreds of people, and so LOADS of dialogue, so much so it became tedious and very cookie cutter in their personalities? (Did i use the term right?)

But with Fallout 3, There's less people, and there for they are very well scripted, and you're also supposed to actually get a sense of community. Which if thats true, I'll be very happy

Oh and you get a dog! :D

You always had a dog, but you could have a party of spraying drooling simpletons before to :p

But i bet you that people randomly change voices through conversations, and have facial spasms like they are being probed with a pointy stick while you talk to them.

Eurogamer really butchered this game in their preview. It sounded like a tacky, horrible, poorly made game and really dented my enthusiasm for it. The main complaints were poor environment, horrible wooden animation taken straight out of Oblivion, poor voice acting, poor combat, all the basics of a mediocre game basically.

I'm gutted to be honest but here's hoping they're wrong this time around.

the videos of combat looked soo bad though, one where the guy with the knife just widely stabs the air and looks round while being shot from 2 foot away :/

But the combat in Oblivion was utter crap as well, if the story/role playing elements are good then this will still be worth getting I think.
