Looks good. Feels a bit 50's-steampunkesque, a bit like Bioshock. Anybody got a link to an E3 stream somewhere for the gameplay vids?

Uh..yeah..That's pretty much entirely what the fallout games are about. BioShock certainly felt as though it borrowed heavily from some of fallout's ideas.

Well thats just about the most depressing thing i've read so far

The world map works exactly like Oblivion's, as you can fast travel to places you've already been. Hitting select brings up Oblivion's "time pass" feature as well, buying you time to recover or move the in-game clock along to a more desirable point. Even the inventory system and interface is taken right out of the last Elder Scrolls,

So much for the redesigned and improved inventory

yea it sounds like a user made total conversion mod for oblivion :rolleyes:

, i'd have prefered a real time stratergy game with FPS graphics and the option to switch between RTS and FPS personally.

wanna be mmo single player games are boring as hell

well oblivion and fallout is totaly diferent. and if you played fallout 1/2 u would understand better. now to find that game play video

some have a story unlike say wow, some even have proper cutscenes after importaint boss fights that involve the storyline.

anyway single player wannabe mmo's dont have people which makes it more boring than an offline mmo with a story imo

mh its not mmo its rpg well its rpg with fps elements fallout 1/2 were rpg's to not mmos

Even if it is, I am going to lean on the side that its going to be built around a modular core as in Oblivion, giving us roughly a week before an improved UI comes out for it.

I am really looking forward to this game, fallout has always been a great series and I love the world that its set in.

Hmmm, bit disappointed by the large similarities to Oblivion. It was a pretty good game but the UI and inventory in particular were very clunky. Hopefully the slightly soulless feeling of Cyrodill won't be present either.

I'd say it's pretty much guaranteed that the game is coming out in October, the 10th to be specific as that's what GAME are saying the release date is. Apparently Bethesda have completely finished the game and all's they are doing now is polishing it a bit more and fixing any random bugs etc.

I can't wait, it looks awesome. Oblivion was a great game so if this is similar yet in the Fallout world it's definitely going to be an amazing game. I got my 360 Collector's Edition pre-ordered at GAME, the CE looks great aswell.
