Fallout 3 Prepare for the Future

What are you guys talking about, the video looks amazing. que up body shots...

It looks very true to the original fallouts.. :D

oh gooooooooooood, what a pile of ****e! the graphics look worse than Half Life 2 - except the combat shotgun which as realistic as Doom II's (and the bullet following that has been copied from Max Payne), it seems to have nothing to do with fallout, whoever said that it's a bioshock ripoff wasn't wrong :\

graphics doesn't make good game play and it's not meant to be realistic graphics.

as for it has nothing to do with fallout, it looks exactly how fallout was.
 
is it true that in the originals u could kill every single person in the game if u wanted even the kids and still complete it?

nope, unfortunately it doesn't seem to have good game play either

fallout isn't an fps it's a top down rpg, but you can't play fallout 3 as a top down rpg! :S (C&C Renegade?)

I would say selecting body parts and lining the up, is very much in the style of fallout, you don't have to play fps.

oh and renegade was awesome.

they've taken a feature used for points/tbs and used it for fps, pretty pointless as no-ones ever going to do anything except a headshot. So you can do 3rd person instead of 1st.... Huzzah! :\

no, it was rubbish. Pong has better gameplay.

yep or you could kill no one, and everything in between.

Although I'm still going to hold off my complete doom and gloom till i see if dialog is any good.

but who ever made the desicion that charisma should affect speech options not intelligence should be shot.

What was with the ai on the guy who gut killed with the shot gun though, he just seemed to stand and look the other way stuck.
 
They gone and messed with the turned based combat by the looks of it, even when choosing an area to aim for.

Want to buy the old style of when you get spotted = turn based there after.

How ever you play it its in BS FPS type mode.

Only plus side to this shambles is Ron Perlman coming back!


was so looking forward to this as one of my all time favs....but i'll give it a chance to suprise me.

I wonder if its gona be as modable as oblivion since its on more or less the same engine. If so maybe some modders will convert this to fallout 2 style overhead view etc.
 
It can't really be compared to the orignal Fallouts but the video's make the game look fun.

Hopefully there will be plenty of roleplaying gameplay to counter the fps (over the shoulder, whatever) shooty gameplay which will get boring quick, at least for me.

Although I hope we'll be able to turn off the motion blur, I've never liked that effect.

Been looking forward to this for a while fallout and fallout 2 was ZOMG !! Was couple of the first games i played non-stop on the PC :D
