I played nearly all of Fallout 3 before i could get Live working so I missed mostly if not all achievements. Is there anyway of post updating these or is it replay?
Er... pardon my ignorance but why bother with achievements? Kind of pointless aren't they? I can't say not having them detracted from my playing experience at all. And replaying just to get them? Do you collect snow too? That seems a little less like a pointless exercise.
I'm not trolling, I'm honestly really confused as to why anyone's interested in getting them.
AFAIK, The achievements must be completed while you are signed into live. If you save at regular intevals and don't overright your saves, then you should be able to load a save game just prior to each achievement and get them that way, but TBH you would be probably be better off starting with a new character.

Depends what part of the game you took the explorer perk in. AFAIK it only reveals the locations up to that part of the game so if it was before you had installed all 5 DLC then most likely you will be missing those locations until you discover them.^I took the Explorer perk that shows all locations on the map, are there additional hidden ones?
I'm up to level 10 now, is it worth getting Broken Steel & Point Lookout now or wait a while ?
Honestly, the only one worth getting is planting a grenade on someone. Everything else is fairly inconsequential.
The 3 superpowered enemies don't come into play until you enter BS I believe.
