enjoying this game immensely so far, I'm going to pick up Broken Steel & Point Lookout, only a tenner on interwebs, then its time for an upgrade and Bioshock 2 and more Fallout

do the dlc packs add additional achievements ?

I think they all add a few yes. Reaching level 30, completing the content, playing through the content, that sorta thing. Point Lookout is the only 1 that really adds some proper achievements.
