Don’t get your hopes up yet, nothing confirmed but rumours are starting to circle and an announcement could be made in the not to distant future.

Personally I'm really looking forward to this. Fallout 3 was good, but had it's flaws.

Skyrim was a massive leap over Fallout interms of fleshing out the environments.

Hope they use the same if not improved engine for Fallout 4!

Rumour here.

Interesting, hopefully its not as shallow as skyrim though, FO3 was great.

Fallout: 3 was so vast that (to me) it felt like it should have been an MMO, still haven't completed it.

Edit: It was the first Bethesda game i played that was so vast etc.

Boston would be nice, lots of media have been there recently, seems to be the new New York (kidding...nothing can be so droll ;p).

Though I would have though they would do Michigan or something.

The only thing I hope they change in relation to FO3 is the explorability. I'd love to be able to move rocks or remove the planks off buildings and enter them.

Personally preferred FO3 to NV so I hope they also stick in that kind of World.

They will as it's a Bethesda game rather than Obsidian.

I'm looking forward to the game being made in the new improved Skyrim engine, the world being a lot more populated (animals (maybe robots in this instance) etc) and a lot less crashes!!

This could just as easily be for the MMO? As far as i'am aware Interplay is no longer legally able to pursue the MMO and all rights have been returned to Bethesda.

Why make a thread with zero information?

I am a broken man after the realisation that it hadn't actually been announced.

I know you could own a house in fo3 and upgrade it but the upgrades didnt seem to change much. I want something more elaborate, like being able to extend it with secret rooms such as armorys and swimming pools etc that are underground.
In fact there is quite a bit I think they should expand upon but I think I would be here all night trying to explain it all.

they have a format they follow it goes: work on tes and half of dlc then start fallout production and continue working on tes dlc, when fallout is done they work on half of dlc and start production on tes while continuing fallout dlc. I would not be surprised if they announce a new fallout this year, but I doubt it will come out before the new console generation.

If 3dog is involved then its gonna be close to DC, or somewhere else that 3 could go to (somewhere in us)
