For several months now, the Interplay website has been host to a simple splash page promising an upcoming revival of the once-great company. We heard news a while back that they had sold the property rights for the Fallout name to Bethesda (which will be in the form of Fallout 3), but retained the rights to a Fallout MMO.

Now we get word that they've just relaunched their new website and (re-)hired Chris Taylor for a super-secret "Project V13". It doesn't take a rocket-scientist to figure out that V13 is Vault 13, and since Chris Taylor worked on the original Fallout, it's a safe bet that this project is the highly-anticipated Fallout MMO.

Always liked Fallout, could turn out promising. Though its unlikely I will continue with MMOs when I finally finish with WAR (which I'm expecting to last me around 3 years)
 
Aye too many mmos coming out and about now adays, theres a buffy the vampire one coming out too
Theres meant to be a warhammer 40k being developed...
How can I possibly play them all :eek: :p

This is something I've wanted for ages. It'd be tricky to do with certain races though - how would you have a lone Space Marine? And which it'd be awesome to play as a Tyranid, they're firmly relegated to just computer controlled bad guys due to the way they work as a hive.

Basically yes, we will see just about every company there is making MMOs from now on. There is a vast vast amount of money to be made in even a semi successful MMO, every game company will want a slice of that cake.

I think the 40k MMo is ruined before it's started. From what i've read, it'll take the form of a standard MMO, but just have a '40k wrapper' applied.
What would have been absolutely awesome is if they made planetside 2.0 (or so to speak) but with the 40k universe. A FPSMMO.
