Fan controller - No LEDs, no display. Is there such a thing?

Hey

I posted something related to this when asking about a light-free PC (I want as few LEDs, lights and displays as possible) but this is a little more specific.

Basically I want a fan controller able to control at least 4, and preferably 6, fans. I also need it to have no display and no LEDs - a simple dial for each fan, to go between 5v and 12v or similar would do the job perfectly. 5 1/4 bay size if possible.

Budget is about £30 - can stretch it slightly, but at the moment I can't find a single one.

How about a Fansis FC-525? It does 6 with no LEDs (OcUK don't seem to have it though).

Or if you didn't mind a little work you could try this, there's bound to be a way to disable the LEDs even if it means cutting the connection. They're subtle enough that it'd not be too noticeable.

EDIT: Sorry, the Fansis does have LEDs, couldn't see them in the pic I found. The same will apply to this as the Zalman then.

That zalman was my first thought - but unfortunately my case will be right next to the display, and I use it for DVDs etc. Considering I notice the blacked-out led on the monitor I think 6 lights at the side may be a bit much.

A little DIY cable cutting could work (that's how my laptop cooler is running, didn't realise it had blue LEDs when I bought the thing) - does anyone have one of these?

The fansis is also a possibility if I can source one, that looks pretty much perfect :-) thanks.

Just found this too. It's pricey where you can get it, but it's all internal and controlled via USB and software. If you're really keen on no LEDs that could help, but as far as I know it only does 4 fans.

Ordered, thanks Happy, and Art for the suggestion :-)

Should do the job nicely indeed. =D

That internal doo-wickey looks interesting, but it's way out of budget (ie, costs as much as the GPU I'll be using)
