Hey guys, buying some fans and wanted some advice.

Here is my spec:

BitFenix Shinobi case
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Z68 Socket 1155
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560Ti OC 1024MB
Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Samsung F4EG 2TB HDD
Titan Fenrir Evo
Corsair CMPSU-850HX Professional Series 850W Power Supply

Here's the fan options for the case:
- Front Cooling: 2 x 120mm Fans (optional)
- Rear Cooling: 1 x 120mm Fan (included) or 1 x 92mm Fan (optional)
- Top Cooling: 2 x 140mm Fans (optional) or 2 x 120mm Fans (optional)
- Bottom Cooling: 1 x 120mm Fan (optional)

I don't think I need anything too extreme. Thought of getting some Gentle Typhoons and getting a fan controller but doesn't seem worthwhile considering my parts at the moment.

Considering two Antec tri-cool 120mm fans. Not sure if I should just get 4 of them or two 140mm fans to go with it.

Cheers for any help.

One 120mm in the front and one 120mm/140mm in the roof, no need to spend to much otherwise you may as well get a case with more fans to start with.

aaahh, words mixed up this late at night. I have the Shinobi case, but I don't have any fans apart from the ones included.

What I meant was I have everything barring the fans and CPU cooler. Sorry.

You're sure two fans will be enough?

edit: if so, wouldn't it be worth me getting two high quality fans? EG the Noctua NF-S12B 120mm and the Asaka Viper 140mm? They'd cost me about £20-25 but if they'd do the job I'm happy with that.

One in the front, one in the rear exhausting (supplied) and one at the top exhausting also.

You arent using anything that creates lots of heat:)

I'm just trying to save you some money.

Cheers, just trying to make sure I don't get stuff and find out it's useless for the hardware I have! Anyway, cheers. I'll buy what you said but will get a Noctua 120mm while they're on offer where I can get them for the future!

Anyway, would the Titan Fenrir Evo be alright for the Shinobi? It will be a tight squeeze but considering the height of the unit and the ceiling of the case it should be OK in theory.
