Fancy testing some Alpenföhn fans? Post in this thread!

You say there's going to be other products to try out too, does getting selected for one test mean you won't be able to test others? Or will it just be completely random each time?

If its the latter, I could do with a new case fan, got a space on the side of my case for a 120mm, and room on my CPU heatsink for another 120mm or a 140mm, so would take either of them!

Im interested in testing the 120mm fans.

Is there a limit as to the amount of fans you can send? I have a whole load of radiators, the biggest being my quad rad.

Not necessarily no :) For the decision making its always good to know what people are using, and what the product will be tested vs too.

Would love to test out 2 x 120mm for my case.

Just got a Thermalright Silver Arrow on my VERY hot C0 4GHz i7 920 CPU, would like to see how the temperatures change with different case fans on my Lian Li PC-B25B.

I would be interested in a 120mm or two mish!

It will be interested to see how silent and cooler it is compared against my Scythe S-Flex 1600rpm 120mm on my TRUE. If I have two I can try them in a push/pull configuration.

although I would really like one of those K2 to test with my new SB stuff!!! :)

Actually thinking about it I can also test a 140mm on my Thermalright Shaman. Want a OcUk member review of Alpenfoehn Peter and how it compares performance/noise against Shaman? I'm your man.

I could test out 2 of these in the top of my lian-li pc50 case, just done some water cooling in it and feel my xigmatek 140mm are a little noisy, so am looking for some quiet fans to replace with, could even put some 120mm's on the front rad as the xigmateks on there at the moment are louder than I like, so could see how well they do on a radiator

I'll be interested if the 120mm's are PWM fans. I can put them up against the Nexus 120mm fans I've got on my Megahalem. Thanks. :)

I've got a TRUE here that would willing have a bash with using these instead of akasa ambers. might even give the CPU another tweak and bash about seeing if I can get the temps behaving @ 4g

Like everyone else on here, I would like to try them too (couple of 120's and m'be a 140? ... Cheeky I know, but until you ask ;)), would be interesting to see how they match up against the Akasa Vipers I currently use.
