I'm only wanting to see deadpool 3 because Ryan Reynolds is in it and he makes me laugh. I couldn't give a toss about the story. Looks like its going to be a self depreciation and selthlothing of all that is Marvel so... that might actually work?

Super hero movies can still be great. The quality of writing is what's rapidly declining.

Tbh I think that has been the problem with most. Why couldn't they have followed the comics? Heaven knows what they'll do the Sentry when he appears?

Not particularly hopeful for this, writers and director are largely unproven on large budget blockbusters. Kirby yes please, Pascal no thanks.

Yeap, its got all the hallmarks of yet another superhero flop (The Marvels, Madame Web, The Eternals etc) and a studio that thinks "people loved this IP decades ago so they'll come out of the woodwork to see this" but then gives the project to people with either no history (or a chequered one filled with flops and few hits) in big budget films to get it made and cast a lead actor that 1/3 of the potential fans may think of as extremely divisive (Pascal) vs John Krasinski who is almost universally loved.
None of this is making me think "Yeah, summer blockbuster that'll make a billion!" and help reverse the fortunes of either the MCU, Marvel, Disney or Superhero films in general.
To be fair Sony (Spiderman IP) churn out these flops like Venom, Madam Web , Morbius, Kraven (tbd) so hasn't been the same standard we would expect from MCU hence why they aren't recognised as canon. I do agree the latest set of MCU movies and shows have been a massive disappointment but they proven they can get it right when they have the right ideas, actors and writers in place. So I wouldn't categories all Superheros shows as the same. It is a difficult genre to get right and we have seen problems in the latest phase of movies/shows from them.
At this stage its a tad early to say if iFF i's going to be good or bad, we won't know until we get more.

Fantastic 4 has never really been a money making franchise or IP outside of the very hardcore fan base, most of which have evaporated. Even their animation series has been super lacklustre over the years.
4 films; first straight to VHS bin, second 05' and third 07' did ok but only c$300m ish each in an era where Spiderman 2/3 were c$800m. This was also the era Batman Dark Knight Trilogy had successfully rebooted the superhero genre to an almost believable closer to real life outlook as the more cartoon perspective was out of favour again.
2015 Fan4Stic only did $160m against the multi $bn Infinity War era. Ignoring how average Fan4Stic was, it shows how tanked that IP is when any and every superhero film was making bank at that point.
Jks cameo as Reed Richards in Dr Strange MoM was decent enough but that was a couple of mins as part of a bigger set piece.
So a reboot with new cast again none of which are massive box office leading draws, using an average bland verging on nonchalantly viewed IP at a time superhero movies have tanked in popularity.

Yeah, I find F4 quite aged and dated, it's probably the one Marvel IP where they should deviate from the source material.

Yes apparently some female version so its not Norrin Radd. I am sceptical but i have been wrong before, ie GotG so hope they can make it work otherwise it will be another forgettable movie like the recent offerings.
