Just joined. Love this fantasy footy site. Did it last year and makes watching neutral games a whole lot more fun!

Here is my team after changing it hundreds of times and no doubt more to come:

My goaly is a bit weak but very cheap and makes 4-5 saves at least a game. Wigan got about 4-5 clean sheets on the run last year and I'm hoping for the same. Not sure why I put Jo in there but hoping he'll do well for me
 
You keep the players and the team changes, you can actually end up with 4 players from the same team that way.

btw, i wouldn't have Joe Cole and Ballack together, they hardly going to play everygame now Lampard is staying and Deco have arrived. Pennant too is not such a good buy, as most Liverpool players are a risk as Benitez rotates them constantly (with a few exceptions).

Another thing to point out for anyone. Try not to spend over 5.5m over a sub player. The first couple of weeks they will come in handy when you realise which players start week in week out with all the new transfers in the prem. After that the subs only really used once every 4/5 games or so. I tend to pick a sub player who will be guaranteed to start at a low level team and will get you 2/3 points at least when he comes on.

How often does Senderos start, peter? He only plays when Gallas or Toure are injured really. I'd change him for someone defo likely to start.

For 5m I would get Bouma. They only have 1 left back and thats him! Won't get you assists or goals but will get a decent clean sheet bonus from time to time with Villa. Although they have just lost Mellberg.

Lausen might go on a scoring spree again this year. If he does his price (6m) will sky rocket. I'm sure he was around 7m+ by the end of the season considering the amount of goals he scored from set plays
 
Hart a bench player? No way! I reckon hes guaranteed to play 95% of the games. Schmeichel, after having a decent couple of games, lost his place after Sven seem to lose faith in him. Isaakson couldn't debunk Hart from his number 1 slot and he's Sweden's number 1. Hes a good buy I reckon for 5m.

Man City's defense needs to improve a whole lot more though. I'd keep him in if I were you.

I like to have a smallish sized shortlist/watchlist too to keep track on players who interest me. Nice to keep track of their price value changes as the season progresses. "Add to Watchlist" is on all the players profiles and then can be found on the pull down menu in the transfer section

I went for Hart at the moment, altohugh I rate Isaakson.

Anybody know what's going on with the goalkeeping situation at the Villa these days?
