^ Good thinking, though it can be hard to spot the bargain buys until the season is up and running.

Well my team name is Shamikebab's Diablos :) Not even sure where I came last year, don't think it was good though. Completely forgot about it for the last thrid of the seasons! Intend to put a bit more effort in this year.

I hear ya. I'm so up for it this season that it's pathetic.

Last year we had a work league, playing for money each month (to stop people losing interest over the course of the year), and as a result, I made loads of transfers that hugely affected my overall score. A friend beat me by 9 points over the season and has been rubbing my face in it ever since, so this year is payback :mad:

In a head to head league you play a game each gameweek against another team in the league. Your score versus your opponent's score. 3 points for a win and 1 points for a draw

For those that haven't done much fantasy football, the website www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk is very useful and has lots of good advice (although they haven't updated all of the articles for this year yet (probably waiting for most transfers to finish).

Seemed harder to pick my team this year:

Given
Boswinger - Evra - Hangeland - Bridge
Lampard (c) - Young A - Delap - Valencia
Tevez - Cole

Subs: Sorenson,Davies (fulham one), Doyle, Eckersley

May change but fairly happy with it right now.

yeah i've decided to join as well as my work place does one as well:

"MISSING: 2 DAYS PCM?"

My company recently decided that in order to keep our jobs, we had to sacrifice 2 days per month of pay for the next six months :(
