Another defensive midfielder and one that's not a certainty to play regularly :confused:

Mikel's only going to get appearance points and if Chelsea keep a clean sheet. Defensive midfielders in FF are pointless.
 
i dont think you know the aim of this game to succeed. you need to choose players that will get you points from scoring or making assists or cleep a clean sheet.
also you need to choose players that are regular first team players

mikel is a utility player he never gets first pick

And if you insist on doing so, don't pick ones that aren't going to play every game like Fletcher and Mikel.

I'm relying too much on the stats given to me. :( Either way, spent the last 5 minutes re-shaping my midfield and added in a better goalkeeper along the way. Decided against the Gerrard/Lampard in the same team thing for a better overall team.

Haven't got defensive midfielders anymore...or does Neville count? :o
 
to be honest. people will most likely choose top scorers in midfield

like gerrad and lampard.

but i didnt have them last seasons and i did quiet well. although i wasnt part of this league.

i choose players that provide a lot of assist and get moderate goals. like kuyt and modric. plus their prices are fair. also i choose players whos value is most likely to increase as the season goes on, this maybe because they are perfoming very well and ppl will start to change their squad and will therefore increase the players value because they are being picked more.

u also need to have a flexible squad especially for when you star players might get injured. if you just pick a strong 11, u run the risk of some of your star players getting injured and end up playing zyatte

and trust me you will get injuries,

stay away from teams that have a lot of rotation like liverpool, man u etc
only when you are certain you know that player plays all out ie evra,kuty etc


instead of mikel. i would suggest choosing anderson. he is £5mil and is more likely to get regular play, especially since he is quiet on form pre season. problem is man u have a lot of competition in midfield

Wonder whether or not Petrov has been playing regularly so far this Pre Season? He was a steal back on the FF two seasons ago but was obviously injured for much of last season, wonder what his role will be this season?
 
I've entered this year, with the mighty Waarp Multimedia.

I couldnt think of anything funny, like Houngdu Cement PLC, or something like that.
