I personally wouldn't want us to disrupt the Carrick/Scholes partnership that served us so well last season, sure Hargo will be worth his wait in gold in those tough away games but it was the Carrick/Scholes duo that was a major reason behind our great attacking play last season and we shouldn't detract from that for the majority of games

Berbatov will proberly start more games but I think Bent will score more when the 2 play together. Berbatov wasn't great away from White Hart Lane last season whereas I could see Bent getting goals home and away.

I was faced with the same problem and I opted for Bent to start with
 
My first week couldn't of gone worse, my reserve keeper scored more than my first choice, 2 of the defenders I was looking to put into my team to replace the injured Baines picked up assists which would have resulted in some nice bonus points and Gamst Pedersen another I was toying with the idea of having in my team also picked up an assist

As for players I have got in my team 1 didn't even make the subs bench for him team, another didn't come off of the subs bench and my main striker had a poor game and only bagged 2 points.

Hopefully my Chelsea/Man Utd/Arsenal players pick up a shed load of points for me tomorrow.

I'm in the same situation, can't believe Pompy have dropped Taylor after how well he did for them last season :eek:
 
Can't believe how many people are thinking of blowing their wildcard just one gameweek in :eek:

Anyways I've made my first transfer of the season removing Van Persie (as Arsenal dont play) and replacing him with Robbie Keane. Watch Jol go and leave him on the bench tomorrow night now :mad:

Van Persie will come back for the weekend games though :p

You can make 1 transfer per gameweek with no effect on your points tally

Every transfer after that in the same gameweek costs you 4 points per transfer

Yep and between now and then you can do the same (assuming you've made no transfer between Saturday morning and now)
 
Berbatov injured, Ronaldo gone for 3 games and I was always going to have to take one of my Chelsea defenders out before the weekend........ looks like I've got no choice but to use my wildcard ridiculously early :mad:

It was either that or forfeit 12 points in my case with Ronaldo out for 3 games and Berbatov injured for god knows how long. I also needed to remove one of my Chelsea defenders before the game against Liverpool as well.

I'd keep Tevez in your team, he's almost a cert to score next weekend against Spurs :)
