I know there are quite a few of you on this site. Do any of you have any broken BB guns that you'd consider selling on?? I'm looking for film props, and I obviously can't afford to splash out outrageous money on fully-working BB guns. There isn't really a market for "broken" BB-guns! :D

Cheers,

Quite often see broken airsoft on several of the usual airsoft forums markets mate. However i don't think you'll see the kind of price drop your looking for as normally it's just a case of replacing one of the gun's components ie gearbox, spring etc and your back up and running.

Ask Shotgun Ned, i'm sure he's got enough weaponry to destroy the moon :p In fact he's away at the moment - said something about sorting that Iraq thingy out single handed :p Just kidding

But, like stated, Most guns can be fixed and so the price wont fall through the floor. What kind of weaponry are you after? If you just want pistols, then im sure you can pick cheap springers up relatively cheap these days.

Otherwise, where are you based? Some of the airsofters on here (myself included although I only have one assault rifle and about 4 pistols) may be able to lend you their gear for a small fee, as long as you aren't planning something stupid like running down Oxford Street with them in Shemaghs ;)

While airsoft people are on. If I wanted a pair of Glock 18's with extended mag to shoot at the people over the road ( in jest ), what would I need ? The gun and mag obviously and some ammo, but anything else to get started ?

Although I cannot advocate such DISGRACEFUL behaviour :p

You'll need, 2xGlock 18C, 2xExtended Mag, 400,000,000 BB's (we dont like running out now do we :p ), Gas, and a Tin of Silicon Lube to keep everything going tasty :)

And what about the pump shotguns ? Benelli or something ? What about that ?

sorry for the most random question, but how loud are blank firer's? Im looking to get one as it would be a nice cool way to scare the next door neighbours cats who seem to like relieving themselves in my garden

VERY loud. During the Lethal Weapon era I bought a 8mm blank firing Beretta 92F and it was ear shattering.

The balance between scaring next doors cats and getting slotted by a police ARV is a fine one, so I would exercise caution. :p

Damn you VS, beaten like an Eastenders hard man.

are blank firers 100% legal? Ive seen a rather nice "BF 95 Glock 17 Blank Firer" on the net for £100, just need to make sure its legal before buying it

As far as I am aware they are legal to buy and own, although the government are making inroads to try to ban them. The matter of carrying them about in the street is another matter and if used to scare cats, you will get into a lot of trouble.

The 1968 Firearms Act has several offences relating to imitation firearms and most are indictable in that it is a Crown Court job, ie serious trouble. If the cat is your main concern in buying one, I would suggest you have a rethink.

NOT GAS

You don't want to kill the things, just something like a little colt 25 :p

Or walther PPK

If you're looking for film props, and nothing more, just buy a few of those crappy £5 BB guns from your local market. Y'know, the ones chavs strut down their road with thinking they're 'gangsta'.
