I wont actually be firing directly at the cat, just firing near them to scare them off, and firing at randomly family members when they come round!

im looking for a nice beretta or colt, gas powered with decent range, and the ability to use 6mm paintball bullets
 
To be honest if you are going to get those wretched paintball things you'd best just get a springer. Ask any credible airsofter if he would put 6mm paintball pellets in his AEG or gas gun. I wouldn't even keep them in the same room.

The reason being is that they are awful for guns, split paintball = wrecked gun.
 
Why I said get a cheap one :)

They are more likely to break ina gas gun as well due to them being more powerful.

You can get an electric beretta (spring) for about £35-£40 that would do the job and it would be semi automatic

if your planning on shooting a cat with an airsoft gun or scaring them with a blank, your an idiot, they are way cheaper methods and more humain methods then this

But, like stated, Most guns can be fixed and so the price wont fall through the floor. What kind of weaponry are you after? If you just want pistols, then im sure you can pick cheap springers up relatively cheap these days.

Otherwise, where are you based? Some of the airsofters on here (myself included although I only have one assault rifle and about 4 pistols) may be able to lend you their gear for a small fee, as long as you aren't planning something stupid like running down Oxford Street with them in Shemaghs ;)

/glances at link in sig...ok you may have a point :(.

Regarding the blank fire guns, make sure that they are top venting and not front venting (ie, out the end of the barrel), as that type are now illegal and carry a maximum 5 year jail sentence so make sure you only buy from a trusted shop and NEVER from abroad.

Gaijin is correct about the paintball bb's though. Never ever use them in anything other than a springer. In a semi decent gas pistol they would probably break in the mag before even being fired.

So you can charge into enemy territory rambo style, empty your current weapon, chuck it away like it's a worthless piece of junk then pull out another and continue firing.
 
Anyone who shoots at or near cats is a retard.

If my next door neighbour got any airsoft weapons and threatened my cats with them they would find a lit mk.9 dropped through their letterbox.
