why, what and why

A bit of reason would be nice, not a huge number of americans on here but a few. they defiantly have donner kebabs over their though. Seen them on several shows. Although I think they are called something else.

You can get kebabs over here in Canada. They are called gyros. I'm not sure if they are exactly the same as a kebab in the UK.

I havent had a Kebab since Nov 5th 1987, thats how bad it was. Wife wanted to try one when we lived in the UK, but i told her it wasn't what its cracked up to be, well not the ones you get in Burnley anyways.

The sell both gyros and doner kebab in Germany and they are different - gyros are actual pieces of meat that are compressed togetther and put onto the skewer on the spit, nothing like the reconstituted elephant leg doners we have here.
