We shouldnt lose this chap, hes a right giggle. I knew a guy at school who sounded just like him. Geeky and believed he was much smarter than he really was.

A question seeing as the Dons seem to be enforce on this thread.

Why is there a Mafia " voucher thread in MM with just a post from a Don saying "TUT TUT" where as this week a load got deleted and I know for sure I got an infraction because of it. Infact this one is worse than mine as he is selling 2x vouchers and I was only 1x, so hes twice as bad as me ;)

This isn't consistent moderation which is surely by far the most important approach? Or are we saying individual Dons will take a different approach to the same issue?

There is a reason for this that will become apparent shortly.
 
Im banned from MM, mobiles and the HTML forum.

MM was due to pointing out a seller was selling at a higher price than it was available brand new.... the other two were years and years ago for advertising services.

I've certainly learnt my lesson, and would love to get back in to them (mobiles and html moreso).

I didn't know this could get you banned from MM - understandable, if it were a link to the same second-hand item cheaper on, say, eBay, but just pointing out that the seller is a bit of a greedy fool? Harsh.

Having said that, my place of work has a definite issue with poor management decisions. While they make a lot of moves I personally disagree with, I'm not in a position to contest them unless they drastically affect my job. I also disagree with the way our country's justice system works - many of its laws and procedures seem ridiculous to me, but I understand that if I contravene them, I'm going to be punished. It's the same situation here. Spie's set up the forums and it's moderated for the most part by people who give a lot of their time to do so, and they're entrusted with the responsibility of moderating as they see best. Sometimes they make decisions I disagree with, sometimes I think they're being morons on a colossal scale, but I'm a visitor here and it's their domain. If you don't like it, post somewhere else.
 
when it comes to MM stuff, we really should have no say, its a free service which lets us sell in a pretty safe way and NO seller fee's if you look at what auction sites take with listing, final value and then paypal fee's i don't see the point in arguing, i have had a couple of short breaks from MM and now keep my nose clean
 
This thread has turned into abit of a laugh actually and I am glad it has been left open for other users to discuss issues with the mods/dons.

I just want to say Burnsy, I am sorry for being a complete ass the other day, I was on one after having a very awkward customer in during the morning. After having time to reflect on my actions I fully understand the stance you and the others have taken regarding the rules placed down in the MM.

I really enjoy logging on the forums and will continue to do so with no hard feelings about the decision made. I've lived without the MM for nearly 2 years now and don't miss it really. Actually I am glad I haven't been re-granted access as I probably would have lived in fear of getting banned again !

That said, back to reading the utter trash entertainment that is twoblacklines !
