Part of me thinks this place could do with a mod, part of me thinks it benefits from not having the sometimes over-moderation of other parts of the forum. Suppose it depends on who they get to do the job. Someone with some common sense would be nice !

NathanE I dont think it's a fair either way to read a few RTM'd threads and say whose getting at who. Which is why i think it needs a Mod to regularly browse lots of threads on here to see where the trouble is coming from.

I don't think its all that bad, but a few threads on here seem to be targetted. Its also obvious to the regulars which threads are guarenteed to end in pap.

Even a thread like 'xbox controller 1 gram heavier than Sony controller' would cause a 3 year argument on whether the gram is needed or not.

Apart from the comment by nathane this thread is just like the other 2 recent threads. Nothing will happen because of it and I don't really think there is a problem TBH.

Not true, he does get picked on in a fair few threads. Some of his dicussions are valid, but yet dismissed.

Only by certain folk. At the same time DirtyDog's get dismissed because 'You don't own one...' It is very similar. Though Mr Mens posting style is somewhat, Bizzare :confused:

In my opinion, it's comments like this that cause the bickering thats been on the increase recently.

Please don't take that as a personal dig Kreeeee, but I'm sure you can see what my point is. When people make a little dig like that (in jest or otherwise) it's just asking for retaliation, and thats when the threads go off on a tangent.

I personally feel that Mr Men has been given a bit of a tough time recently.

Possibly, but surely that's more of a fault for the other people, who see that it's Mr Men who posts, then just jumps on him for no reason.

But this isn't a thread about him in particular, it's a thread about the whole Console forum and how it needs to be looked into
