I sincerely hope no-one is taking this tread seriously (I know I'm not), but just in case:

Anyone considering harming animals, or putting any kind of exposed power supply near animals - don't

You sure the stray cats actually need power supplys?:p

I just put that in there incase someone came in here and took the thread seriously (none of the regulars would have course, but this is a public forum).

Don't joke about hamsters...

Please, I don't mind jokes about cats and dogs, but please don't laugh about hamsters. Mine died yesterday.

It fell asleep at the wheel.

I hope you have replacments, also make sure you do the delta mod meantion above that should help the hamster live it's life expectancy. :p :p

I Have just got my third goat up an running, they are terrible tyo configure, tend to lash out when u ram the 240V cable up it ....

I have also got 3 chickens 2 pigs and a duck billed plattypus (you jus put a live wire in the water for the latter)

I don't think my cat quite enjoyed the experience, then again...

russian dwarf hamsters are best for this application, they affect the airflow lest and run for weeks on end!

They key I find is to open the cage door and leave the cat nearby, the hamster will run non stop.. No power leadrs needed.

BTW Biffa I noticed tis morning that some of my fish were dead? I took your adcvice and wrapped the batteries in lead ;)

They are marine tropicals, I think the salt in the water affects the circuit. The freshwater fish are fine, they produce a work unit in about 15 hours but I'm going to get them some battery powered calculators as an upgrade from thier solar powered ones so that they can crunch at night.

The marine tropicals are a different matter, when powered up they do a wu in 1.2 hours but they kill batteries in about 2 mins so I need a large stock of batteries to keep them crunching.

I'll get there.
